Within the framework of the Erasmus+ EASI project, they studied methods that can support the more effective preparation of young people for the labour market in Harghita County. Participants examined the functioning of dual education in automotive, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and innovation companies, as well as in vocational education institutions.

Between 15–18 June 2026, representatives of the Harghita County Council took part in a study visit to Slovenia under the Erasmus+ funded EASI (Enhancing Assessment Skills of In-company Tutors Hosting International Students for Improved Work-based Learning Evaluation) project, hosted by the Šolski Center Novo mesto.

During the professional programme, participants gained insight into the Slovenian vocational education system and became familiar with best practices that foster cooperation between educational institutions and economic actors. As part of the study visit, they explored the operations and training collaborations of Adria Mobil, Krka d.d., the Rudolfovo Science Center, GRM – Secondary School Center of Biotechnology and Tourism & Agricultural School, as well as the Colnar company.

The visits focused on work-based learning, dual education, the role of in-company mentors, and methods for assessing competencies acquired during practical training.

The study visit provided an opportunity for international exchange of experience, learning about innovative educational models, and strengthening professional connections that can contribute in the long term to improving the quality of vocational education and enhancing young people’s labour market readiness in Harghita County.

The mobility was co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme.
