“Electrification of isolated households in Harghita County”
within the Call for Proposals – Call 6.1(b): Household Electrification – Norwegian Grants
The Harghita County Council, as a beneficiary within the “Program for energy in Romania”, implemented the project “Electrification of isolated households in Harghita County”.
The project implemented by the Harghita County Council is financed under the Call for Proposals – Call 6.1(b): Electrification of households – Norwegian Grants.
The specific objective of the project implemented by the Harghita County Council is to ensure the electrification of at least 52 isolated households not connected to the electricity distribution network in Harghita County, by installing solar photovoltaic systems of 2kWp in each household.
The distribution of the 52 photovoltaic systems installed in isolated households in Harghita County is presented as follows:

The total number of beneficiaries from the 52 isolated households electrified by the placement of photovoltaic panels is 112 inhabitants.
The Harghita County Council provides through the project the complete equipment of each 2 kWp photovoltaic system consisting of: photovoltaic panel; battery charger; batteries (accumulators); inverter; connection materials and fuses; the assembly structure of the system; direct current-alternating current electrical panel, respectively, the installation and commissioning of the photovoltaic system and the external and internal electrical installation.
The total value of the project is 260,000 Euro, its financing being provided 100% from Norwegian Funds based on the Financing Agreement no.588507/18.10.2021 “Electrification of isolated households in Harghita County” and implemented through Innovation Norway Romania.
The project implementation period is 22.09.2021 – 15.12.2023.
